Dreamy Downtown Columbus Wedding

Purple Wedding Inspiration

This stunning wedding was held in the beautiful Downtown Columbus Athletic Club founded in 1912. The gorgeous bride, Ivana, was not shy when it came to incorporating a bold purple hue into her special day. The bridesmaids wore dazzling royal dresses and carried gorgeous, traditional style, hand-tied bouquets of purple hydrangea, pale peach roses and burgundy calla lilies. Ivana’s bouquet was softened version of the bridesmaids bouquets using only a touch of burgundy calla lilies along with white lisianthus, white stock and pale peach and pink roses.

Could these two be any more cute?! I think not. One of the flower girls carrying a petite version of the bridesmaids bouquet with a gorgeous coordinating floral crown and the ring  bearer proudly wearing a boutonniere of mini roses and purple hydrangea.

Macy’s at Easton Town Center: Diamond Viewing Room

Who: Macy’s

What: Macy’s grand opening for their “Diamond Viewing Room”.

Where: Macy’s at Easton Town Center |  4141 Easton Loop East

We created three bridal bouquets showcasing a modern style, rustic and traditional along with floral centerpieces to accent the Diamond Viewing Room.

First up is our Modern Inspired Bridal Bouquet. In today’s bridal world, bouquets have gone wild, greenery is in and soft pastels are all the rage! The modern inspired bouquet for the Macy’s renovation event at Easton was based on the two Pantone Fashion Colors of 2016, Rose Quartz & Serenity. The bouquet featured blush pink garden roses, gorgeous light blue hydrangea and other assorted complimentary blooms. To bring in the garden, wild-esque feel, we incorporated garden ivy. As a new trend we’re seeing in our industry, the bouquet was designed to display horizontally, rather than vertically giving a complete modern feel.

The second bouquet captured a rustic feel. The rustic inspired bouquet had a very wild flower, fresh picked look incorporating lavender, miniature sunflowers, berries, thistle, billy balls, dahlia’s and other coordinating blooms and textures. To complete the rustic look and feel, the stems were wrapped in raffia and natural twine.

Last but certainly not least, it was requested that we capture a traditional style bouquet as for our third style. As a traditional style bridal bouquet that we continuously see making a comeback, this bouquet was designed with a cascading style. Our design team used assorted traditional flowers such as roses and miniature roses as well as lilies in the romantic shades of pale pink and white.

The elegant floral pieces for the diamond viewing room were a low and round style to accent the room. These eight arrangements were designed with white hydrangea, white miniature calla lilies and fragrant lush white garden roses in a silver embellished container for the perfect accent to a diamond viewing room.
